RTX 40 Series and newer GPUs support DLSS Frame Generation. All GeForce RTX cards can use DLSS Super Resolution and DLAA. NVIDIA Reflex reduces system latency. AMD GPUs can enable FSR 4 or FSR 3, depending on the model. Intel Arc graphics support XeSS 2.1.

  • NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation (RTX 50 Series)
  • DLSS Frame Generation (RTX 40 Series and above)
  • DLSS Super Resolution (all GeForce RTX cards)
  • DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing)

Ray tracing features

Ray tracing features include Ray-Traced Reflections on vehicles and environmental surfaces, as well as Ray-Traced Global Illumination that computes indirect lighting and occlusion across the open world and car models in real time. These features require compatible graphics hardware.

The PC version includes ultrawide monitor support, robust controller compatibility, and full support for every steering wheel that worked with Forza Horizon 5. Players using Steam Deck or Xbox ROG Ally can play with cross-save enabled, transferring progress between Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Steam, SteamOS devices, PC handhelds, and the PlayStation 5 version arriving later in 2026.

PC-Specific Features

  • 4K HDR visuals with high uncapped framerates
  • Ultrawide monitor support for immersive viewing
  • Robust controller and wheel support (all wheels compatible with Forza Horizon 5 work with FH6)
  • Steam Deck and Xbox ROG Ally compatibility
  • No restart required when changing graphics settings
  • Live previews for many graphics options
  • Real-time memory usage display showing video and system RAM consumption
  • Built-in benchmark mode for performance testing

Graphics settings can be adjusted without restarting the game. Many options provide live previews, so players see visual changes as they adjust them. The interface displays real-time video and system memory usage to show how changes to settings affect resource consumption. A built-in benchmark mode offers a consistent method to assess performance across different hardware configurations.

Pre-orders are available now on the Microsoft Store and Steam. Buyers who order before launch receive an exclusive pre-tuned Ferrari J50. Three editions are offered: Standard, Deluxe, and Premium. The Premium Edition includes Early Access starting May 15.

Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members can purchase the Premium Upgrade to access Early Access. The PlayStation 5 version releases later in 2026; players can add the game to their Wishlist on the PlayStation Store for availability notifications.
