Prepare to explore the Outer Ring in Zenless Zone Zero as HoYoverse unveils Version 1.2, titled “Tour de Inferno”, set for release on September 25.
This highly anticipated update introduces new characters, content, and gameplay optimizations, enhancing your journey through the tech-noir world of New Eridu.
The Desolate Outer Ring: A New Frontier
In Version 1.2, you will traverse the Outer Ring, an undeveloped area on the outskirts of New Eridu.
Despite its barren and desolate nature, the Outer Ring is rich in fuel resources, sparking tensions among different factions.
You will join Caesar Burnice and other members of the Sons of Calydon as they clash with their rivals, the Vanquishers, and Overlord Pompey in this harsh environment.
The Sons of Calydon operate a logistics company, Leaps and Bounds, transporting resources through the perilous Hollows. As Caesar, an S-Rank Physical Defense Agent, you can provide your allies with shield buffs and deal massive damage to enemies.
Meanwhile, Burnice, an S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent, unleashes fiery attacks, burning enemies with two flamethrowers. To add to the action, the Sons of Calydon’s S-Rank Bangboo, Red Moccus, enters the fray on a customized motorcycle.
New Gameplay and Events
- “Bizarre Brigade” Arcade Game: Available at Godfinger, this time-limited survival shooting arcade game allows you to unlock different characters and complete roguelike challenges.
- Investigator Training Course: Level up your agents faster and practice combat skills with characters from various factions, gaining rewards and improving your overall performance.
- “Overlord’s Feast”: Participate in this exciting event to receive in-game rewards, including the playable agent Lucy.
