Microsoft Xbox today announced the first batch of games joining the Xbox and PC Game Pass subscription service in January, including highly anticipated titles such as “Diablo,” “UFC 5,” and “Lightyear Frontier.”
According to a message released on Xbox Wire on Tuesday, multiple games will be added to Xbox Game Pass between January 7th and 14th. The specific list of new games is as follows:
January 7th:
- “Road 96” (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Windows PC) – Available for Premium, Standard, and PC editions
January 8th:
- “Lightyear Frontier” (Xbox Series X|S) – Standard edition
- “My Time at Sandrock” (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One) – Standard edition
- “Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders” (Xbox Series X|S) – Standard edition
- “Rolling Hills” (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One) – Standard edition
January 14th:
- “EA Sports UFC 5” (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud Gaming) – Premium edition
- “Diablo” (Windows PC) – Premium and PC editions
It is noteworthy that “Lightyear Frontier” is still in the Game Preview stage.
A major highlight of this update is the inclusion of games previously available only in the Premium and PC editions into the Standard edition, expanding the game selection for Standard edition users.
Meanwhile, some games will be removed from the Xbox Game Pass library on January 15th. These games include “Common’Hood,” “Escape Academy,” “Exoprimal,” “Figment,” “Insurgency Sandstorm,” and “Those Who Remain.”
Microsoft reminded players that they can enjoy discounted prices if they purchase these games before they are removed.
