The wait is finally over!
Indie publisher and distributor SelectaPlay has officially announced the upcoming release of the Touhou Luna Nights 5th Anniversary physical edition, set to launch on March 21, 2025.
This marks the first time the acclaimed Metroidvania title will be available on consoles outside of Asia, bringing it to fans across Europe and North America for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.
A Metroidvania Masterpiece Coming to Consoles
Developed by Team Ladybug and WSS Playground, Touhou Luna Nights has earned its place as a fan-favorite within the Metroidvania genre, boasting over 12,000 “overwhelmingly positive” reviews on Steam.
Initially conceived as a fan project based on the legendary Touhou Project, it quickly evolved into an acclaimed title thanks to its captivating mix of exploration, action, and stunning visuals.
Now, fans will finally have the opportunity to experience this gem on their favorite consoles.
Two Editions to Celebrate the Anniversary
To mark this milestone, SelectaPlay is releasing two physical editions of Touhou Luna Nights:
