NVIDIA announced it will release a native GeForce Now cloud gaming app for the Steam Deck “later this year,” offering up to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second HDR visuals (for TV output).
Through collaborations with Apple, Meta, and ByteDance, NVIDIA will also introduce native GeForce Now cloud gaming apps for the Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest 3/3S, and Pico, supporting technologies like ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS.
In other news, NVIDIA announced it is expanding its cloud gaming business in India and Latin America, with the first GeForce RTX-based data centre in India set to launch in the first half of this year.
Currently, NVIDIA GeForce NOW supports over 2,100 games, and Microsoft Xbox’s “Avowed” (Gamedelux note: releasing on February 18) and Bethesda’s “Doom: The Dark Ages” (2025) will join the cloud gaming platform upon their PC releases.
