Renowned Twitch streamer Quin69 publicly questioned Elon Musk’s “Path of Exile 2” gaming skills, suggesting that the world’s richest man may be sharing his account with other players. The streamer believes that this is to disguise Musk’s lack of proficiency in the game.
Musk, a well-known fan of action role-playing games (ARPGs), has previously streamed himself playing “Diablo 4,” discussing business topics during those sessions.
With “Path of Exile 2” emerging as a competitor to “Diablo 4,” Musk began streaming gameplay of that as well. However, Quin69 felt something was off after watching Musk’s streams. Despite Musk playing with a high-level character, his gameplay at times appeared like that of a novice.

Quin69 theorized that Musk might hire more skilled players to complete the challenging content, while he logs in for simpler tasks. “I don’t think this is his own levelled character,” Quin69 said during his stream. “I think his account is being played by someone else the whole time. He just logs in occasionally and plays around.”
Quin69 also pointed out that Musk often discusses artificial intelligence, Dogecoin, and other topics during his streams but seems clueless about core mechanics, even disregarding crucial in-game items like “Chaos Orbs.” “He has no idea what he’s doing; this is clearly account sharing,” Quin69 added. “He keeps clicking on the map repeatedly, obviously not qualified to enter that map. It’s too suspicious.”

Despite acknowledging Musk’s grasp of basic mechanics, Quin69 maintains that Musk is not a skilled player. Many “Path of Exile” players agree with Quin69’s assessment, but some of Musk’s supporters have accused Quin69 of jealousy.
After viewing more of Musk’s streams, Quin69 expressed his further confusion:
“It would be much cooler if he was just learning the game from the beginner stage during his streams; I would relate more. What makes me angry is that he previously boasted on Joe Rogan’s podcast about being a top player, but clearly, his account is being played by someone else. He pretends to play, but his skills are far from what he claims.”
“Who is he trying to convince? Why do this? He not only robs himself of the fun of the game but also makes it awkward. Why lie like this? Maybe he can fool some people who don’t think, but what’s the point?” Quin69 stated
Currently, the accusations remain unconfirmed, but future streams may shed more light on the situation.
